- We start with the core data provided by our partner banks, which we receive in data dumps once to twice weekly. While this data is 100% reliable, it may lack some information (e.g., missing card products) or contain outdated details.
- The most tedious but also most vital aspect of our workflow is the collection (and even purchasing) of real card data from our private contributors. This includes scanned card images, photos, and a variety of information collected from real customers.
- Maintenance of so-called checklists. These consist of actual non-expired card information. All data sources and BIN lists are received from numerous sources and cross-checked against our checklists to ensure quality. If there are significant discrepancies, we drop the source. We are working hard every day to keep these lists live and representative by removing expired cards and adding those that are newly issued.
- Automated data processing: we are creating dozens of custom software solutions for data processing: OCR, formatting, data search & replacement, and many, many other tasks that occur on a daily basis.
- Manual data processing: not all of our incoming data can be automatically processed. We pass it to our chief developer, and he decides how to proceed. If it can be done automatically, he creates a project for developers; if not, the data is passed to data processing specialists to be processed manually.
- Communicating with contributors on a daily basis.
- Compiling custom database builds for our Extended License customers (by request).
- Preparing files for our monthly releases. This consists of various file consistency checks and other final amendments, if needed.
